Coach Richard Walker said “It was a great team effort tonight. Having 3 or 4 key swimmers missing meant that certain swimmers had to step up and fill the void, none of these disappointed. We made a slow start in the first round back in May, but credit to the swimmers as they were fantastic in the 2nd round and even better in the final, this is all down to how they are training at the moment and their determination to improve. With this group of swimmers and with the younger ones coming through, I can see us pushing on over the next few years so we have very exciting times ahead. Well done also needs to be said to captains Mille Clark and Taylor Coe and vice captains Rosie Batt and Jack Pym, they lead by example throughout the rounds and put in some stellar performances in leading the team.”
